Primos Elementary has been as busy this school year. In the beginning of our school year, Primos staff and its home and school organized a barbeque to welcome our new principal, Mr. Sean Burns. The event was a huge success and provided an excellent opportunity to get together as a community. As Thanksgiving approached, our Student Council helped gather and deliver 10 full Thanksgiving dinners and Giant gift cards to families in our area. As if that wasn’t enough, the staff and student body also donated over $1300 to be distributed to families during the winter holidays. One teacher, Mrs. Stacey Venit, encouraged her own family to donate toys and produced over fifty gifts to add to the cause.
This January our building is hosting both a family bingo night and a Faculty vs. Parents Family Feud Event. With competition running high, both nights will undoubtedly be exciting and memorable.
